Notes:  Walk for Hope is an event Sarah Keating looks forward to each and every year. City of Hope is an incredible organization, and Sarah knows this first hand. Years ago, her husband, Dan, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a blood cancer that affects so many people and their families. City of Hope's research led to the development and use of a monoclonal antibody drug, which is commonly known as "Rituxan." That drug, along with a chemotherapy regimen known as CHOP, led her husband back to health and gave them all their lives back. The Duke's Lacrosse Club went 6-0 and won the Brandywine Lacrosse Classic High School A division on Saturday, October 27, 2012. The Duke's Tournament MVP was Zach Drake (Midfield, LaSalle). The Duke's Defensive MVP was Dustin Buchanan (LSM, CB East) and Offensive MVP was Evan Wolf (Attack, Lower Merion). The Duke's also received strong midfield play from Matt Donnelly (Clearview), and Dylan Lee (Garnet Valley) while Zach Hare (Springford), Colin Strange (Hempfield), and Sean Valentino (Hempfield) held their own. Two way versatile mids Mike Thompson (Radnor) and Jace Liszka (St. Joes Prep) worked off some rust and contributed. Strong attack play was displayed from Phillip Robertson (Salem, VA), Hunter Jones (Abington), Conor Howell (Wilson), Zach Ward (Hempfield) and Jake Pousson (Avon Grove). Standouts on defense included goalie Will Schreiner (Avon Grove), goalie Sean McGovern (CB East), defender Jeff Kern (Saucon Valley) and defender Adam Graham (Clearview), Jon Warg (Parkland), Matt Petrick (Kennett), Damase Bagbanon (Conestoga) and David Wolfson (Shipley). Matt Dellacroce (Springford) was particularly strong on face offs. Compromised on mostly sophomores, 1 freshmen, 1 junior, Dukes LC defeated Low & Away White 12-1; Seneca LC 8-3; Twist 10-2; Savannah Strong 10-4; Brotherhood 10-0; and in championship game faced Wildcat LC and won 7-2. The Duke's were coached by Joe Vetrone, Brian Ikeda, Evan Bohner, and Chris Fallon, and would like to extend their appreciation to Jeff Long and Scott Ely of the Pattison Sports Group for hosting this first class event.

Some of Dukes 2016 class were able to come out for first time this fall and compete at Lax-O-Lantern 7v7 tourney presented by Relentless Lacrosse. Split up into 2 teams Dukes Blue & Dukes White, Dukes Blue was able to go 6-0 on the day to win the High School A division title over a scrappy Cardinal O'Hara 8-4. Dukes Blue beat Brawlers 9-0; Cardinal OHara 12-4; Rustin 15-5; Lebanon Valley Rednecks 17-1 and Dukes White 9-4. Dukes White started out rusty out of the gate and a scrappy Cardinal OHara team took advantage and beat Dukes White 5-4. Dukes White would regroup to win next game, 6-3 vs LV Rednecks, 9-7 vs Brawlers, before losing to Dukes Blue 4-9 and eventually winning last game vs Rustin 9-4. Dukes White would go 3-2 on the day and 1 goal short of a Dukes vs Dukes Final. Dukes Lacrosse Club would like to thank Keith Jacoby and Relentless Lacrosse for event.

Participating Team(s): 8 Duke's teams  |  Cost: Cost is $105(*) Notes:  (*) Cost includes: Games/Tournament time and 4 Lower Level Wings Tix per player for the Wings game that day before our Tournament. 8 Teams playing in a Championship Format with every team Guaranteed 3 games of approx. 25 minutes. Duke's LC Rules to follow shortly. 8 Teams will ALL be Duke's players. If we need to fill in with Players/Teams then we will Utilize Duke's Lite players first, then Duke's HHH U-15 Players next then Rebel Elite then Tri State. ALL Duke's players are INVITED and encouraged to reply ASAP so EVERY Duke's Player has a chance to Participate FIRST before we go outside of the club. Contact Coach Ebe and confirm as we have wings Tix to pass out NOW !!! Each Team will have approx 20 players going with the Best of the Best in each grade with this Tournament being a Primary Sendoff to Seniors. Teams Makeup are 2 Goalies, 6 Defense and 2 Offensive lines of 6 each. Duke's Lacrosse Club held their Annual Duke's Invitational Tournament this Year Hosted by the Phila. Wings at the Wells Fargo Center. Typically this Tournament is a Farewell to Seniors and signals the end of the Club Lacrosse Fall/Winter Season as players shut down and are Released to their respective High School Teams and hopefully a little Down time. This Year the Championship game was not played as Duke's Seniors and Juniors went Undefeated, shook hands and opted for the Championship Photo together. This Tournament will now be an Annual Event with the Wings at Wells Fargo Center commented Wings Representative, Paul Pedrow . A couple Hundred Wings Season Ticket Holders along with the Wings Owner, Coach and Players stayed and were on hand for some of the Action.
