The Filming will be done by First Choice while the Combine Skills will be directed by Brian Yeager, the Phila. Barrage Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Notes: Duke's finished the tournemant 2-1. Game 8-7 OT Win against Baltimore Elite in 1st game with Mike Vandegrift getting the Winner. Lost 6-7 to Madlax in the second game after leading 6-2. Defeated Maryland Redshirts 8-1 in the final game of the day.
Ridgway, Vandegrift, Gurenlian, Cullinan, Piper & Amato stood out.

Notes: Many good things to report including :
- We went 4-0 and beat a very strong LI Express Team.
- Three of our players met with the Hofstra Staff afterward to talk about at Hofstra which is a Great thing.
- We took 18 players, 3 of which came out with us for the first time ever while 6 other players made their 1st off-season tournament
appearance. 50% of our players were out for the 1st time this season which speaks volumes about our performance.
Chris Fallon made his initial Duke's Coaching Appearance.
Strong play was turned in by the offensive middie group of Ridgway, Loizeaux, Vandegrift, Bambino, Kellett & Z. Donnelly who combined for 40 Goals and 13 assists on the day.
Defensive middies in Mike Gurenlian and Derek Bogorowski played well while Tucker Durkin on Defense and Joe Donnelly in Goal played well.
Attack was a mixed "bag" with Morgan Young chipping in 7 goals and Pete Schwartz adding 5 goals including a critical score late in the final game to get us into OT vs Smithtown.
Sam Hargrove and Eric Ososki packaged Big games vs Lyndenhurst as Sam scored 5 Goals and Eric had 4 Goals and 1 assist in the game.

Notes: Top offensive performances were Ridgeway(14gls), Lundquist(14gls),Bambino(12gls),Hoff(11gls) over 5 games. Strong all around performances were given by Young, Loizeaux, B.Jones, Burnett, Scheerer, Woody, Ososki, Z. Donnelly, Stephen Evans, Kellet, Burbank.
Defensively, Chris Creighton, Mulqueen, & Vermeil played solid defense with their shortstick and started jelling cohesively as a group. Creighton even scored a goal this weekend.
In the goal, all three goalies carried the team in certain games and they showed that they were all capable of shutting the door in certain situations. Curley (31saves), Worthington(31saves), & Donnelly(30saves) were frustrating to the other teams during the weekend and have made Dukes depth of talent at the goalie situation very TALENTED & COMPETITIVE! Donnelly will making some amazing saves during the weekend, even recorded an impressive coast to coast run and score against one of Tristate equally impressive goalies. Worthington and Curley did not disappoint by having three (10 save) performance games.
I think that is it. Dukes Program delivers the goods and got a chance to improve and gauge our skills. Remember fellas everytime we win, the BULLSEYE gets bigger on your back.

Notes:The Duke's LC and Lacrosse Evolution are proud to present the 2007 Winter Duke's Invitational. The Duke's Invitational will be comprised of Boys High School Elite and All Star teams from up and down the East Coast.
A quick update to all to identify that we had an Incredible Inaugural Duke's Invitational.
The Lax Evo Team did a Great job in setup and running the Tournament while the changed Rules with Faceoffs and 1 Stick were Huge plus' to the Game.
We received many compliments from the other teams attending the Event and the Level of play was much in many instances was just plain superior.
Many thanx to Lax Evo, Duke's Coaches, players, Family's and Friends for making this Inaugural event such a Success.
